Anthony Ventura

Managing Director

Anthony Ventura is the Founder and Managing Director of RedShift Advisors.  Anthony has 15 years of experience in middle market investment banking. He was a Partner at Strategic Advisors, a middle market investment bank, which provided merger, acquisition and capital raising services.  He was Director of Corporate Finance at Schneider Downs, focusing on sell-side and private placement advisory services to its clients.  Additionally, Anthony gained extensive buy-side experience at a growth-oriented investment bank which was acquired by Ernst & Young.

Prior to his career in investment banking, Anthony held positions at PNC Bank in the corporate banking division, and served as an investment and treasury analyst at Carnegie Mellon University.  Anthony is a licensed securities professional, completing the FINRA Series 7 (General Securities Representative), 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law), and 79 (Investment Banking) exams. He has a B.A. in Managerial Economics from Allegheny College and is a graduate of the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University – M.B.A. in Finance.  Anthony is also a member of the Association of Corporate Growth and has judged its M.B.A case competition.

Arch Riley, Jr.

Director

Arch Riley is a member of the RedShift Advisors management team and focuses on banking relationships, acquisitions, distressed companies, and pre/post-bankruptcy consulting.  Mr. Riley has extensive experience in the acquiring businesses, real estate, fixed assets, and gaming licenses and video gaming terminals.  Arch practiced law as a corporate bankruptcy and creditors’ rights lawyer for more than 35 years. He is the former co-chair of the bankruptcy and creditors’ rights practice group at a West Virginia-based regional law firm and opened a West Virginia office for a Pittsburgh-based bankruptcy law firm. During his career as a bankruptcy attorney, he represented numerous corporate debtors, including serving as local debtor’s counsel in the Weirton Steel Corporation bankruptcy, counsel for numerous energy companies (and sureties), and acquirers of bankruptcy assets.

His creditor-side engagements included national and regional banks in bankruptcy relief from stay proceedings, involuntary bankruptcy prosecutions, receiverships, and foreclosures. For this work he was recognized as a West Virginia Super Lawyer beginning in 2007, and Best Lawyers in America since 2009 which honored him as Bankruptcy Lawyer of the Year for northern West Virginia in 2012 and 2016. He has also served as outside general counsel for various companies. Arch is a graduate of Tufts University with B.A. degrees in Economics and French Language and a graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law.
